Meet Cooper - Adoption Pending

Hi, my name is Cooper and I am a 3-year-old pure bred English Springer Spaniel. I came into the rescue because my family didn’t have time to meet my needs. I am an energetic young man and I think that meant that they didn’t have time to give me the attention I needed and deserved.

I am up to date on all my vaccinations, am housebroken, crate trained and have recently been neutered. I can be a little mouthy at times but that is my way to tell you that I need attention. I weigh approximately 42 pounds and ride well in a car.

I am very smart, know some commands, walk well on a leash and sleep nicely on a dog bed in my foster dad’s bedroom. I do not do well with cats so cannot be placed in a home with cats. I am not a big fan of crates but will go in when my foster dad leaves the house. I might have some separation anxiety but seem to be getting over that as I am learning that when people leave me alone, they are not going to leave me alone for 10 hours a day. I do well with other dogs and with children (over age 9).

My best home would include another dog, a fenced yard and room to run. I will also need daily walks and, of course, lots of love and attention. If you can find room in your heart, please fill out an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you.
