Meet Draco
Hi there, I’m Draco — and yes, I am a Very Good Boy! Some folks call me "Drake-Drake," a sweet nickname from my first mom. I still love her deeply, and I understand why she made the hard decision to find me a new forever home. You see, I spent the first six years of my life with a family I loved, but sometimes the busy energy of visiting kids made me feel anxious and unsure. I’m more of a take-it-slow, let’s-be-friends-at-my-pace kind of guy.
Once we bond though? I’m yours — fully and passionately. I adore people (especially calm, gentle ones) and I really thrive when I’m given time, patience, and love. I also like other dogs! I’m a social butterfly at doggie daycare and dog parks, and I’ve blended beautifully with my current foster pack of fellow English Springer Spaniels. I’m a go-with-the-flow kind of guy — not bossy, not pushy, just happy to be part of the crew.
Oh, and I’m healthy as can be! I’m up to date on all my vaccinations and vet visits, so I’m ready for all the adventures life has to offer. I’ve got the energy, spirit, and heart of a young pup.
Did I mention I’m super smart and very well trained? My first mom made sure I had excellent manners. I worked with a top-notch trainer and learnall the basics like sit, stay, down, and come. Say my name and ask me to come? I’ll be at your feet in a flash, ready to please and eager for praise. I live to make my person proud.
Now for one of my superpowers: fetch. ’m not bragging (okay, maybe a little), but if there were a professional fetch league, I’d be a first-round draft pick. I’ll chase that ball and bring it back right to your feet, every time.Seriously — got a ball? Let’s go.
And of course, being an English Springer Spaniel, I’m wild about birds. Don’t worry, I won’t bring you any — but boy do I love watching them! I’m six years young, with plenty of happy energy, so I’d love a home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and maybe some good sniffing adventures. I’m also an excellent cuddle partner when the day winds down.
Above all, I was born to love my person — with my whole, beautiful heart. If you can offer me a calm, stable home — ideally without young children — I will devote myself to you completely. I don’t need the spotlight. I just need you. Let’s build a life full of trust, loyalty, and fetch.
