Meet Bella - Adoption Pending
LOCATED: Sacramento, CA
Hi, my name is Bella and I am looking for my forever home. I am two years old and spent those first two years living in San Francisco. I got walked twice a day by a lovely, kind woman who took me to numerous public areas and parks throughout the city (Coit Tower, Crissy Field, Fort Mason). My owners gave me up because of their health and mobility issues. I have been microchipped, am current on rabies (expires 2027) and last visited the Veterinarian’s office in 2024. I got spayed early (prior to turning 1) and am ready to be adopted.
I am a compact girl, weighing in at 27 pounds. I have lots of energy and enjoy walks and outdoor adventures. I am told that I am smart and a quick learner as I learned to use a doggy door and how to go up and down a spiral staircase while in foster care.
When I first arrived at my foster home, I didn’t know what to think of wild turkeys walking the neighborhood, expansiveness of beautiful old Oak trees, or if it was okay to pick up a tree branch while on a walk. I love car rides and often snooze in the back seat when running errands with my foster mom. My foster mom lets me lie on her bed before I go to sleep at night in my crate.
I enjoy long walks on a leash but will need more time to learn not to pull. Attending Obedience classes would be great as I have not participated in any training classes. The best fit for me would be with a person/family that is home a lot, has a fenced yard and loves walks. Another playful canine sibling would be the cherry on the top!
If you have room in your heart for a lovable cuddly dog that craves attention and would like to adopt me, please fill out the adoption application on out website.
